First Baptist Church has an active and thriving senior adult ministry. They call themselves Celebrators. There are many activities as well as a Celebrators Choir that our seniors are involved in. We value our senior adults and enjoy their service to our body of Christ as they have much wisdom and love to share.
CELEBRATOR CHOIR
The Celebrator Choir is for adults 50 and older who would like to serve through the music ministry. No auditions are required. We travel frequently to assisted living facilities, homebound members’ homes and other venues to sing and share the love of Jesus. We also sing a couple of times throughout the year in the 9:00 AM worship service. We rehearse on Monday mornings from 10:30-11:30 AM in the chapel choir room.
MONTHLY LUNCHEON SCHEDULE
May 5 (Sunday) - Senior Adult Banquet 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
June 19 - Presentation by the Fort Mill Police Department on scams aimed at senior adults.
11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Registration is not required.
